Procurement Expert - Supplier Performance Management / Supplier Innovation (m/f/d)


  • Drive Supplier Performance Management & Supplier Innovation initiatives towards Procurement best-practice in the utility industry.
  • Establish and implement group-wide Supplier Performance Management tools, processes and KPI’s.
  • Drive digitalization of Supplier Performance processes in the new SRM tool.
  • Assess and restructure existing processes related to supplier evaluation with stakeholders within the business to conduct Supplier Performance Reviews to meet Customer requirements in terms of Quality, Cost, delivery, Innovation & Corporate Social responsibility.
  • Design and drive innovation strategy for Procurement and implement a supplier innovation process framework to capture supplier innovation opportunities.
  • Build, enable and train a Procurement innovation community to drive holistic innovation initiatives.
  • Support Global Category Leads to set-up and implement innovation strategies by applying agile methodologies. (e.g. Design Thinking)


  • Relevant academic degree (Master or equivalent) or similar education, with minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain/Procurement organization, preferably in larger international corporations. (e.g. Utility, Automotive, FMCG, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of Supplier Performance management processes, tools and metrics.
  • Proven project management skills and a results-oriented, entrepreneurial attitude.
  • Curiosity to explore, create and share innovation; experience in implementing innovation projects within Procurement.
  • Highly developed analytical and communication skills, combined with a structured work style and a pragmatic hands-on approach.
  • Comfortable with conflicts and ability to challenge “conventional” thinking, consider other views and convince with facts.
  • Experience and ability to work in a fast-changing matrix and in project teams. (e.g. technical and Supply Chain/ procurement project members)
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office programs and further relevant tools.
  • Fluency in English and German is a pre-requisite.
